Information We Collect

Information You Give Us

When you place an order, create an account, sign up for our newsletter, or contact support, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your shipping and billing address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to share it
  • Your payment details, processed directly by our payment provider (we never see or store your full card number)
  • Anything you write to us in a support message, review, or contact form

Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit synerainnovations.com, we automatically receive:

  • Standard server log data from our hosting provider (Shopify), including your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit
  • Cookie and similar identifier data set by our site and our service providers (see "Cookies and Tracking" below)
  • Device and screen size, used to render the site correctly on your device

Information From Third Parties

We do not buy customer lists or receive personal information from data brokers. Shopify and our payment processor pass us the information necessary to complete your order and serve you.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Specifically, we do not collect government-issued identifiers (Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers), financial account credentials beyond what your payment provider passes to process the transaction, precise geolocation data, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, biometric data, health data, or sexual orientation.

Why We Collect It (And Our Lawful Basis)

We use the information above to:

  • Fulfill and ship your order
  • Manage your subscription (if you have one)
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and customer-service replies
  • Process refunds and resolve issues
  • Run our member rewards program (if you participate)
  • Send you marketing emails, only if you opt in
  • Detect fraud and prevent abuse
  • Improve our products, the website, and the customer experience
  • Comply with our legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory)

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that significantly affect you.

For visitors located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws, our lawful basis for processing your information is one of the following, depending on the activity: performance of a contract (when you order from us), consent (for marketing emails and optional cookies), our legitimate interest (for fraud prevention, site analytics, and product improvement), or compliance with a legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).

Who We Share It With

We share your information only with the service providers we need to run the business. Each of these processes data on our behalf and is contractually required to protect it under a Data Processing Agreement.

  • Shopify — Hosts the site, stores your account and order data, and powers checkout. Shopify privacy policy.
  • Shopify Payments / Stripe — processes your payment. Card information is collected directly by the payment processor, which is why we never see or store it ourselves. Stripe privacy policy.
  • Appstle Subscriptions — manages active subscriptions, billing schedule, pause and cancel requests. Receives your name, email, address, and subscription history.
  • Judge.me — collects and displays product reviews. Receives your name, email, and review content if you choose to write a review.
  • Smile.io — runs our member rewards program. Receives your email and earning/redemption history if you participate.
  • Klaviyo — sends our marketing emails (welcome notes, product updates, member-only offers). Receives your name and email only if you opt in.
  • Google Analytics — measures site traffic and how visitors move through the site. Receives anonymized usage data, including your IP address (truncated where possible).
  • Shipping carriers — receive your name and shipping address to deliver your order.
  • Tax authorities, accountants, and lawyers — receive only what is required by law or to protect our legal interests.
  • Advertising platforms — we may, in the future, use measurement pixels from Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, or similar platforms to measure how well our ads work. If we do, those platforms will receive limited event data (a page view, a purchase) tied to a randomized cookie identifier.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with anyone other than the categories listed above. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA.

Cookies and Tracking

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website. We use cookies for three reasons:

  • Required cookies keep your shopping cart working, keep you signed in, and let checkout complete. The site cannot function without these.
  • Functional cookies remember your preferences (language, region, the items you saved).
  • Analytics and marketing cookies help us understand how the site is used and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These are not required.

You can refuse non-required cookies by clicking "Decline" on the cookie banner the first time you visit. You can also disable cookies entirely in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as a result.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to indicate that the user wants to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. Where required by law, we honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request for the device and browser sending the signal. If you are signed into your account at the time, we will apply the opt-out to your account as well.

Some browsers also send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals, and we do not currently respond to them differently from a normal visit. We honor cookie preferences set through our cookie banner and through GPC signals, regardless of any DNT signal.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • See what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time, by clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email or by writing to us
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising (we do not sell or share for targeted advertising, but you can register the preference)
  • File a complaint with a data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@synerainnovations.com from the email address connected to your account. We will respond within thirty days, or sooner if your jurisdiction requires it.

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request information about how your personal information has been collected, used, sold, or shared over the past twelve months, and the right to limit our use of any sensitive personal information (we do not collect any, see above).

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide signed proof of authorization, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly to confirm the request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you our products or services, charge you a different price, provide a lesser quality of service, or deny you any benefit because you exercised a privacy right.

To make a CCPA request, write to info@synerainnovations.com.

European Union, United Kingdom, and Other GDPR-Style Jurisdictions

If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive privacy laws, you have additional rights under those laws including the right to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

We currently sell only to customers in the United States. If you visit our site from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. By using the site, you consent to that transfer.

Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or any equivalent contracts issued by the relevant competent authority of the UK, unless the data transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our hosting provider (Shopify) and our payment processor (Shopify Payments / Stripe) are PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment card security. The site uses HTTPS encryption end to end.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is one hundred percent secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever discover that your personal information has been compromised, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Data Retention

We keep your account, order, and subscription information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our legal and tax obligations (typically seven years for financial records).

If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal information from our systems within thirty days, except where we are required by law to keep certain records (for example, invoices for tax purposes, which we keep for the legally required period).

Children

The site and our products are intended for adults eighteen years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen, and we do not knowingly market our products to anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child under thirteen has given us personal information, write to info@synerainnovations.com and we will delete it promptly.

Links to Other Sites

The site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, social media profiles, ingredient information, manufacturing standards). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new service provider, when laws change, or when we improve the way we handle your data. The "Last updated" date at the top of the policy will always reflect the most recent change.

For meaningful changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) or by posting a notice on the homepage for at least thirty days before the change takes effect.
